This half-day shoot took place in Tarras, capturing a truly one-of-a-kind interior by Clementine Wallace Design. From the moment you step inside, it’s clear this home doesn’t follow convention - hand-painted wall textures, bold art deco flourishes, and layers of personal detail create a space that’s rich in character and colour.

The brief was to document key interior areas for Clementine’s portfolio, with a focus on texture, colour, atmosphere, and composition. We moved through the living area, kitchen, bedrooms and en suite, grabbing a few carefully styled vignettes, using natural light and a simple setup to let the design speak for itself.

What stood out most was Clementine’s use of colour and material - deep teals, mustard yellows, and jewel-toned velvets all balanced with dark timber, vintage crystal, and lush planting.

This was the kind of home that rewards careful framing. I leaned into the compositions with strong vertical lines and layered elements to highlight the standout objects whilst maintaining a sense of cohesion throughout the shoot.

Whether you’re after a crisp and concise collection of images for your portfolio or something a little more expressive, I tailor each interior shoot to suit the space - and the story you want to tell.

Sam has been fantastic to work with. I’ve been out of the business for a few years and just planning a return and he really made me feel confident in project. Very professional and clearly passionate about what he does. I would 100% recommend Sam for your projects.
