I’m Sam – a Wānaka-based photographer with over a decade of experience working with hotels, lodges, and luxury resorts across New Zealand.

About Me
My name is Sampford (Sam) Cathie and I’m a Wanaka-based photographer that specialises in architectural photography, commercial photography and videography.
I started my own business in Auckland in 2012, and since then I’ve worked with a myriad of clients to help them tell stories and showcase their projects across the country.
In my downtime, my partner describes me as a “serial hobbyist” - I love to play guitar, hit the slopes, do karate and taste wines, although not all at once. Yet.
