Commissioned by interior design specialists Studio Gascoigne, this shoot was all about showcasing the newly completed Hannahs store fit-out in 277 Newmarket - one of Auckland’s premier retail precincts.

The brief was to capture a polished set of retail photography that highlighted the quality and detail of the fit-out, while also documenting the store’s layout, lighting, product display, and customer experience. Studio Gascoigne’s design features warm timber tones, lush greenery, and soft lighting that work together to create an inviting, contemporary retail environment.

Photographing retail interiors is all about balance - showing the overall space while also focusing in on key materials, signage, and customer flow. For this shoot, we started before opening hours to ensure clean, distraction-free imagery and that we had time to carefully light and compose each scene. The resulting images were used for portfolio, social, and PR content by the studio.
