The Grove - Sylvia Park’s New Dining Precinct
Location
Auckland
Sylvia Park has been expanding in recent years, with new developments reshaping it into one of Auckland’s most dynamic lifestyle destinations. I was commissioned to photograph The Grove, the newest addition to its dining precinct - capturing both architectural and twilight imagery for the developer’s marketing materials.
This was a half-day shoot focused on showcasing the ambience and design of the precinct in its best light (literally), with the latter half dedicated to twilight shots as the space transitioned from day to night. The clever layout, dramatic lighting, and the glow of neon signage made for some truly eye-catching compositions. From open-air seating to lush planting and bold architectural forms, there was no shortage of detail to work with.
Spaces like The Grove are all about drawing people in, and good imagery plays a key role in communicating that. The final set of photos was created for use across digital marketing and promotional campaigns - highlighting the energy of the space and how well it functions as a social and commercial destination.
Whether you’re grabbing a bite at Birdie’s or strolling through to Sylvia Park, The Grove makes a strong impression—and it was a great project to be a part of.
